Kolkata: Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty's Indian Cricket League (ICL) team Royal Bengal Tigers on Thursday inked a five-year sponsorship agreement with Kolkata's first division soccer club Howrah Union.

As per the deal, to be effective from 2009-10 football season, the Royal Bengal Tigers would help the Howrah Union for infrastructure building, player recruitment and training facilities.

"The alliance between my team and Howrah Union Club is one of its kind initiative," Mithun said.
